Welcome to our website. These Terms & Conditions explain how we sell our products to you as a consumer. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the products.

Your order is only accepted — and a contract is only formed — when we send you an order confirmation email.

If you need to change your order after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes may not always be possible once processing has started.

You must be at least 16 years old to place an order.

2. Product Information

We aim to describe all products accurately on our website, including their main features.

If a manufacturer makes a minor change that does not affect the quality or function of the product, we may supply the updated version.

If a significant change occurs, we will contact you and offer:

  • A suitable alternative, or
  • A full refund

3. Prescription Glasses

If you are ordering prescription glasses you must:

  • Provide a valid prescription issued within the last 2 years
  • Ensure the prescription was issued by a registered optician or medical practitioner
  • Provide accurate and complete prescription details

    Provide your correct pupillary distance (for glasses)

     

Lenses are made using the prescription details you provide, so please ensure they are correct.

If we need to verify your prescription, we may request a copy at any stage.

4. Prices & Payment

Prices are shown on our website and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are added at checkout.

Prices may change before you place your order.

If we discover a pricing error:

  • We will contact you.
  • You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Full payment must be received before your order is dispatched.

We accept payment methods listed on our website.

5. Availability

All products are subject to availability.

If an item becomes unavailable:

  • We will inform you promptly.
  • You will not be charged, or
  • You will receive a full refund.

We may offer an alternative product, which you may accept or decline.

6. Delivery

We aim to deliver your order within 15 days of order confirmation.

If there is an unexpected delay, we will contact you. In some cases, delivery may be extended to up to 30 days with notice. If you do not wish to wait, you may cancel for a full refund.

Delivery is complete when the goods are delivered to the address you provided.

Customers outside the EU may be responsible for import duties or local taxes.

7. Checking Your Order

Please check your order as soon as possible after delivery (ideally within 3 working days).

If your item is:

  • Damaged
  • Defective
  • Incorrect
  • Missing

Please contact us promptly and do not use the item.

If damage occurred in transit and is confirmed, we will repair, replace, or refund and reimburse reasonable return postage.

8. Returns & Your Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving a reason.

To cancel:

  • Contact us in writing (email or post).
  • Return the item within 14 days of notifying us.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Refunds:

  • Include standard delivery costs (but not upgraded delivery).
  • Will be processed using your original payment method.
  • May be reduced if items show unnecessary handling.

Important Exceptions

The right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Prescription glasses
  • Custom-made lenses
  • Personalised products

     

If you cancel a prescription order after work has begun, you may be charged for the cost of the lenses or work already completed.

9. Faulty Products

All products must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • As described
  • Fit for purpose

If an item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Repair the item
  • Replace it
  • Refund it

For prescription glasses or custom lenses, refund, repair, or replacement is at our discretion.

We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or improper handling.

10. Frames Sent to Us

If you send us your existing frames for new lenses:

  • We will take reasonable care of them.
  • Older frames may be more fragile.
  • We are only responsible if damage occurs due to our failure to take reasonable care.

Return postage you paid to send frames to us is non-refundable.

11. Liability

We are responsible for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Foreseeable loss resulting from our breach of contract

We are not responsible for:

  • Indirect losses
  • Loss of use
  • Additional costs of buying alternative products elsewhere

Our liability for defective products (excluding personal injury) is limited to the purchase price and reasonable return postage.

12. Data Protection

We treat your personal information confidentially and use it only to:

  • Process your order
  • Deliver your products
  • Comply with legal obligations

We may share necessary information with trusted fulfilment and delivery partners.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the English courts.
